Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 28.
“We are excited to welcome a special couple to the Heart of Georgia United Way (HGUW) Board of Directors,” said Johnny Payne, President/CEO of HGUW. “Ms. Sarah Routh and Mr. Lehman Routh, will be excellent additions to our Board. Their ideas, creativity, and guidance will greatly help our communities thrive. We look forward to working with them and believe their time and talents will contribute greatly to our mission of giving hope to those in need in the six counties we serve.”
Sarah Routh (formerly Sarah Dixon) is a native of Albany, GA. She is a full-time Realtor in Middle GA and is based in Dublin-Laurens County. Sarah is heavily involved in the Dublin community. She has served as the President of the Order of the Blarney Stone for the Dublin Laurens St. Patrick's Festival Parade Committee, Chamber Ambassador for the Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Pilot Club of Dublin, Volunteer & Advocate for the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter, Foster for Diamonds In The Ruff - South GA dog rescue, freelance contributor to Laurens Now Magazine, and is a member of a local Bible Study group. Lehman Routh, originally from Telfair County, has been a full-time Realtor since 2005. He works along with his family at Routh Realtors, LLC assisting property buyers and sellers in the Middle Georgia area. Lehman is a member of the Rotary Club and is a past President of the Altamaha Basin Board of Realtors. When not working, Lehman enjoys spending his time working in the yard, grilling, playing golf, and visiting with friends and family.
Sarah and Lehman married on November 17, 2018, bought a home, and then opened Routh Realtors, LLC first branch office in Dublin in January 2019. Their office is located inside the historic Fred Roberts Hotel in Downtown Dublin. They're proud to live, work, and play in Dublin-Laurens County.
"We are thrilled to join the Heart of Georgia United Way in its effort to better the lives of those in our community. We were drawn to this organization after listening to a presentation about the immense needs in our area by Johnny Payne, Raj Saxeena, and Lock Williford," said Sarah Routh.
