Avalon, Georgia had a population of 227 people in 2017, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Georgia Business Daily.

The median age was 46, with 39.2 percent of the total population being female and 60.8 percent male.

The state’s total population in 2017 was 10,201,635.
